      Earned first-team All-Region IV honors after helping Riverside to a 10-2 record. As a sophomore, Torrence had 47 receptions for 938 yards and 10 TDs. He had five games of 100 or more yards with a high of 157. He also returned kicks and had 388 yards on 13 returns.

      As a senior at Rancho Verde, Torrence earned all-CIF Central honors as a receiver after the team’s undefeated season.
