Biography

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2024): Played 11 games on the defensive line... totaled seven tackles.

FRESHMAN (2023): Appeared in one game for the Vandals.

HIGH SCHOOL: McLain comes to Moscow after an outstanding career at Priest River in three sports, football, wrestling and track and field. McLain racked up 232 career tackles and was twice named All-State. He was named All-League three times on offense and twice on defense. He was named the All-Central League Lineman of the Year for his senior season. On the wrestling mat, he took fifth in the 2022 3A State Championship and is 10-2 already this year. He finished third in the discus, sixth in the shot put and 10th in the 100-meter dash at the 2022 State track and field championship.

PERSONAL: He hopes to major in education at Idaho. His parents are Julianne and Matyus McLain and he has two siblings.
