Biography

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2024): Did not see action.

FRESHMAN (2023): Appeared in two games for the Vandals. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Gunter was a First-Team All-SIC tight end and defensive lineman for Nampa and helped lead the Bulldogs to back-to-back playoff berths and a 7-3 record during the first year in 5A. He racked up 46 tackles, six sacks and an interception on defense. He earned Second-Team All-State honors for his efforts. He won the 4A 220 lb wrestling State Championship last season, winning three of his four matches in the state championship with bonus points. He moved up to wrestle at 285 this season and is already 10-1 with six pins on the year.

PERSONAL: He is a three-year All-SIC Academic honoree and hopes to major in engineering at Idaho. His parents are Del and Tanya Gunter, and he has two sister Zoe and Brook.
