      As a sophomore at Mesa, Perry had 72 total tackles (37 solo and 35 assists). He also had two tackles for loss, two passes defensed, one interception and one forced fumble during the 2013 season. His high game was 10 total tackles (eight solo and two assists) and an interception vs. Eastern Arizona. During his freshman season at Mesa, he had 46 tackles with three sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss. He had two games of 11 tackles and one of 10.

      Perry earned all-conference honors at Baker High School.

      At Idaho, he will be re-united with Mesa teammate and fellow linebacker Daniel Peterson.
