Biography

2005: Versatility is one of Ford’s greatest assets .... worked way into an increasingly prominent role as the season progressed ... carried the ball 44 times for 173 yards and caught 30 passes for 223 yards .. had 396 yards total offense and scored two TDs – both rushing ... also scored on a two-point conversion run ... best rushing outing was 79 yards on 19 carries at Boise State ... best receiving game was five receptions for 73 yards at Nevada.

 

High school: Graduated in 2004 from Bellevue … played defensive back and running back … was team MVP in 2003 3A state championship season … as a senior, rushed for 1,978 yards with average of 13 yards per carry … scored 26 touchdowns … defensively, had 97 tackles, five interceptions, forced four fumbles and had two quarterback sacks … first-team all-state defensive back and second-team all-state running back … also all-KingCo 3A running back and Seattle Post-Intelligencer all-area defensive back.

 

Personal: son of Fe and Edward Ford … born May 21, 1986 … brother Reggie plays at Eastern Washington, and brother Thomas plays for the Tri-City Fever arena football team ...  cousin is UI cornerback Reggie Jones … majoring in Business and Economics.
