HIGH SCHOOL: Played football and basketball for the Moscow Bears... Led Moscow High to its first playoff win in over 20 years... Second-team 4A All-State honoree.

PERSONAL: He carried a 4.0 GPA in high school and was a member of the National Honor Society and the Business Professionals of America... Served a two-year mission in Chile for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints... His grandfather Lynn "Doc" Skinner was the former director of the University of Idaho's Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.
