2015: Played in all 12 games and was fourth on the team in total tackles with 62 (51 solo, 11 assists) ...  returned an interception for 20 yards to score and had four passes defensed, three breakups and two hurries as well as one forced fumble and one fumble recovery
2014: Played in six games and had 14 total tackles (nine solo and five assists) ... also intercepted two passes and had one quarterback hurry as well as one tackle for loss.
Junior college: As a sophomore at Butte, Edwards had 55 total tackles (34 solo and 21 assists) in a season during which Butte was undefeated and earned co-National Junior College Association championships with a 12-0 mark. He also had one interception and one fumble recovery. He was a North Division Nor-Cal Conference honoree. During his freshman season at Grand Rapids, Edwards played in four games and had five tackles, two interceptions and one pass defensed. Grand Rapids dropped its football program after its 11-0 2011 season.
