2014-15: Hill graduates from Idaho as the most celebrated 3-point shooter in school history and among the nation’s best his senior season ... he became Idaho’s all-time leader in 3-point goals made as a junior and continued to expand on that throughout his senior season ... he did it while compiling one of the best 3-point shooting averages in school history and as he climbed into the list of the top five scorers all-time at Idaho ...he started every game as a sophomore, junior and senior ... among the marks he is leaving on the Vandal record books is holding three of the top five single-season 3-point goals made positions – an achievement that includes the most in school history (108 in his senior season) ... he also is Idaho’s career leader in 3-point goals made (340) and 3-point goals attempts (800) and ranks in the top five in games played (second with 124), points (fourth with 1,508), field goal attempts (fifth at 1,153) and 3-point percentage (fourth at .425) ... he is seventh in total field goals made at 504 ... he also is tied for second on Idaho’s all-time 3-point goals made in a game list with eight, which he accomplished three times ... twice he attempted more 3s (15) in a single game than any other player and he has the fourth-best 3-point percentage game of .889 (eight of nine). He finished the 2014-15 season ranked top 30 nationally in 3-point goal attempts (thirtieth at 240), 3-point goals per game (fourth at 3.60), 3-point goal percentage (sixth at .450), and total 3-point goals made (sixth at 108)... he concluded his senior season as the active Division I career 3-point goal leader ... he was a second team all-Big Sky Conference selection and earned Player of the Week honors once.
2013-14: Hill started all 34 games for the Vandals in 2013-14 and averaged 14.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game…his scoring average was second on the team and 10th in the WAC…broke Idaho’s career 3-pointers made record by finishing the season with 232, shattering Orlando Lightfoot’s previous record of 168 from 1994…Hill finished the 2013-14 season ranked No. 37 in career 3-pointers made among NCAA Division I active players, and will enter 2014-15 ranked third in that category…his 98 3-pointers in 2013-14 were one shy of Idaho’s program record…Hill went 8-for-11 from 3-point range against CSU Northridge on Feb. 18, coming up one short of tying the Idaho record for 3-pointers made in a game…he made seven 3-pointers in a game on three occasions in 2013-14, going 7-for-9 twice…scored a career-high 29 points after going 7-for-9 from 3 at UC Davis on Nov. 30…also had games of 28, 28 and 27 points during the season…scored 20 or more points on eight occasions…scored in double figures 23 times…finished the season with a 1.5 assist-to-turnover ratio and had 24 steals on the year…earned WAC Player of the Week honors twice during the season…was the team’s recipient of the Kathy Clark Award for matching his athletic performance with academic achievement…was a third-team all-WAC selection by College Sports Madness.
2012-13: Hill started all 30 games for Idaho in 2012-13, and averaged 12.1 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game…she made 87-of-196 3-pointers, the third highest single-season total in program history…his 44.4 3-point field goal percentage ranked ninth in NCAA Division I and led the WAC…Hill also shot 43.8 percent from the field for the season…Hill scored in double figures 20 times during the season, including each of his last five games…he scored 20 or more points on four occasions and had a career-high 22 points twice, first at Idaho State on Feb. 23 and again against Texas State on March 3…He made a career-high six 3-pointers on three occasions, the fourth most by a player in program history…Hill was a 79.6 percent free throw shooter for the season, hitting 39-of-49 attempts…he had a career-high six rebounds on Jan. 17 at Louisiana Tech and a career-high four assists on two occasions.
2011-12: Head coach Don Verlin originally intended to redshirt Hill, but that plan only lasted three games, as Hill played in each of the team’s final 30 contests … set Idaho freshman records with 47 made and 122 attempted 3-pointers and a .385 percentage from long range … averaged 5.6 points and 1.2 rebounds on .399 overall shooting … added 14 assists and three steals and hit eight of his 10 free throw attempts during the season … finished the season ranked seventh in the WAC in overall 3-point percentage and fifth in 3-point percentage during WAC play (.413) … his 1.57 made 3-pointers per game ranked 11th in the WAC overall, while his 1.86 per game in WAC play ranked ninth … scored a career-high 17 points off the bench on 6-of-8 shooting in the 94-74 win at UC Davis on Dec. 3 … scored in double figures five times during the season … Idaho was 12-4 during the season when Hill made two or more 3-pointers … Hill was 2-of-2 on 3-point play opportunities and ranked second on the team with four charges drawn.
Post Falls High School: Hill was the Idaho 5A Player of the Year in 2011 after averaging 21.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game … led the Trojans to a fourth-place state finish and a 23-5 overall record in 2010-11 … 2011 Inland Empire League MVP … scored 30 points four times in 2010-11 … helped PFHS claim the 2010 Idaho 5A state title and 22-4 record as a junior … scored 1,192 points in a four-year career, the second-most in school history … set a school record with 69 wins during his career … also competed on the golf team.
