We will need Mike to stay healthy to bolster our front line play and having him back is a lot like signing a valuable recruit with experience. As a Junior (2006-07): Sat out the season as a medical redshirt.

As a sophomore (2005-06): Played in all 29 games for the Vandals and started 12... Averaged 21.5 minutes per game... Scored 175 points and grabbed 134 rebounds for averages of 6.0 ppg and 4.6 rpg... Led the Vandals in field-goal percentage (minimum 100 attempts) by making 69-of-152 (.454) shots from the floor... Led the team with 10 blocked shots... Scored in double figures five times, including a career-high 20 points vs. San Jose State (2/9/06)... Earned WAC Academic All-Conference honors.

As a freshman (2004-05): Played in all 30 games for the Vandals and started six... Averaged 1.4 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10.5 minutes per game... Recorded a season-high nine points against Great Falls (12/11/04).

High School: 2004 graduate of Coronado High School at Henderson, Nev. ... Team captain... First-team all-conference selection... Averaged 16 points, 14 rebounds, two steals and three blocks per game for the Coronado Cougars... Honors diploma.
