2012-13: Harris Jr. played in 24 games during the 2012-13 season and made 12 starts for Idaho…he averaged 4.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game…he shot 39.3 percent from the field, going 44-of-112 and 39.0 percent from 3-point range, hitting 16-of-41 3s…scored in double figures on four occasions…had a career-high 16 points on 4-of-8 3-point shooting on Dec. 29 against Seattle U…scored 13 points after going 5-of-10 from the field against Utah State on Jan. 31…had a season-high six rebounds at Louisiana Tech on Jan. 17…had a career-high five assists with one turnover on two occasions, first at Eastern Washington on Dec. 6 and again on Feb. 28 at UTSA.
Eastern Arizona College: Harris averaged 13.6 points, 3.8 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 2.1 steals per game for Eastern Arizona College as a sophomore in 2011-12 … shot 41.7 percent overall, 31.8 percent from 3-point range and 76.1 percent from the free throw line … led EAC to a 21-10 overall record and an appearance in the NJCAA Region I Tournament in 2011-12 … earned Second-Team All-Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC) honors and Second-Team Division I All-Region honors in 2011-12 … as a freshman in 2010-11, averaged 10.6 points, 4.0 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game and shot 38.2 percent from the field … helped lead EAC to an 18-13 overall record in 2010-11.
High School: Harris played for Seattle’s Rainier Beach High School … helped lead RBHS to a 2010 Washington 3A State Tournament and a 23-5 overall record and a perfect 15-0 record in the Metro League.
Personal: He is the son of Robert and Denise Harris … has two siblings, Mel and Bianca … majoring in General Studies at Idaho.
