2010-11: Shayne joined the team for the 2010-11 season as a walk-on after an open tryout ... Contributed primarily as a scout team player during the season ... earned his first career game action in the 77-47 victory over Louisiana Tech on Dec. 31, where he had one foul and one turnover in three minutes of action ... also played one minute in the Feb. 5 victory over Hawai'i, where he attempted his first career field goal and went 0-1 from the field.

Personal: He is the son of Steve Miller and Shannon Shayne ... born Dec. 9, 1989 ... president of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity ... graduated from Borah High School in 2008 ... majoring in Physical Education at Idaho.
