Biography
CAREER: Appeared in 111 games, the 8th most in program history.
2016-17: Appeared in 27 games, starting on senior day… averaged 3.6 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest… scored in double-figures four times… had a season-best 13 points against UC Davis… scored 11 points and grabbed a season-high eight rebounds at Montana State.
2015-16: Appeared in 27 games, starting eight… averaged 6.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game… missed a brief stretch late in conference play due to injury… scored a career-high 18 points at Montana State… averaged 11.5 points per game during a six-game stretch of starts midway through conference play… scored 11 points and grabbed nine boards against Sacramento State… scored 14 points in Idaho’s win at North Texas… scored double-digit points seven times… recorded a career-high five blocks against San Jose State… shot 55.4 percent from the field.
2014-15: Egbert played in 27 of 30 games and averaged 2.6 points and 2.3 rebounds per game ... he had eight blocked shots ... tied his career-high with 11 points against Weber State in March and had a career-best nine rebounds against Idaho State in early January ... season best of two blocked shots against South Dakota State in December.
2013-14: Egbert played in 30 games for the Vandals in 2013-14 and made one start…averaged 2.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per game…blocked 15 shots and had four steals on the season…scored a season-high 11 points against CSU Northridge on Feb. 18, going 5-for-5 from the field in that game…had a season-high seven rebounds in Idaho’s WAC semifinal upset of top-seeded Utah Valley on March 14…shot 56.1 percent from the field on the season, connecting on 23-of-41 shots.
2012-13: Egbert sat out the 2012-13 season as a redshirt.
High School: Egbert was a four-year starter at Lake Roosevelt High School … led LRHS to a 20-6 record and a Washington 2B State Tournament appearance in 2011-12 as a senior … averaged 23.2 points, 14.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocks per game in his final season … a two-time North Central Washington 2B North Division Player of the Year honoree as a junior and senior … an Associated Press and Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association (WIBCA) All-State selection in 2012 at the Washington 2B level and a 2011 Honorable Mention All-State pick … led Lake Roosevelt to a 23-5 overall record and fourth-place state finish in 2010-11 as a junior … averaged 17.1 points and 11.4 rebounds that season … led LRHS to Washington 2B State Tournaments each year of his career … rated an 88 by ESPN Recruiting and ranked as the top power forward and No. 4 overall recruit in the state of Washington in 2012 … played for the Eastern Washington Elite AAU team for three years … also played baseball at Lake Roosevelt High School.
Personal: He is the son of Jim Egbert and Shanee Breeze … has two brothers, Bubba and Cade, and one sister, Keanna … majoring in Agriculture at Idaho.
