Biography

2009-10: Kuznetsov went 12-14 in singles play for the Vandals in the spring, and 15-9 in doubles. He has spent the majority of his time at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots in singles, going 4-7 at No. 1 and 7-6 at No. 2. He finished 1-1 at the No. 3 spot.

2008-09: Kuznetsov went 11-11 in singles, all at No. 1, and 16-10 in doubles during the spring season, playing 13 matches at the No. 1 position for the Vandals, and the rest at No. 2. During the fall he was named WAC Player of the Month for November. He received a pre-season ITA Mountain Region singles ranking of 28. He reached the finals of the Collegiate Clay Court Nationals. In his first tournament with Idaho he made it to the semifinals of the Boise State Facll Classic. He advanced to the round of 32 at the ITA Mountain Regional.

Previous School: Kuznetsov accumulated a 10-26 singles record and a 15-21 doubles record in two seasons at MSU from 2006-08. He helped the team achieve national rankings in both seasons.

Junior Tennis: Kuznetsov was a top-5 U-18 player in Russia. He held a No. 33 menfs open ranking in Russia and a world ranking of No. 170 as a junior.

Personal: He is the son of Alexsay and Railia Kuznetsov. He was born November 11, 1989.His major at Idaho is Physical Education.
