Morris also follows head coach Carrie Eighmey to Idaho from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Morris served as an assistant coach at UNK for five seasons.
Morris was part of a staff that led the Lopers to three straight NCAA appearances from 2021-23, including a trip to the Sweet 16 in 2021. The Lopers won two MIAA conference tournament championships, one regular season title, and 17 wins over nationally ranked opponents during her time at UNK.
Prior to UNK, Morris served as an assistant coach and graduate assistant at three NAIA schools. She was an assistant coach at Briar Cliff University for the 2017-18 season, where she helped coach three All-GPAC players.
Before Briar Cliff, Morris was a graduate assistant at Oklahoma Wesleyan and Dakota Wesleyan (DWU). She assisted both programs with film exchange and breakdown, recruitment, and game day operations. At DWU, she helped lead the team to the NAIA National Tournament following a 27-7 overall record and a 15-5 record in conference.
In undergrad, Morris starred at Concordia University from 2012-15 and left the Bulldogs as the all-time leading scorer with 2,054 points. She was tabbed the 2015 NAIA Division II Player of the Year and named the 2015 Omaha World-Herald Female State Player of the Year. Morris earned the title of GPAC Player of the Year twice and was an Academic All-American. After graduating, Morris spent time coaching at the Maya Moore Academy in Minnesota, assisting the Ultimate Hoops staff and leading drills for girls ages 10-17.
The Hastings, Neb. native graduated from Sandy Creek High School.
