AT IDAHO:
2025 - Junior
Awarded First Team Big Sky honors. Logged 1,807 minutes, including 18 complete 90-minute performances and 110 minutes
in the Big Sky Tournament semifinal. Started and played in all 20 games for the Vandals. Had 2 points on the season from 2 assists.
2024 - Sophomore
Started in 3 of the 20 games she played for the Vandals.
2023 - Freshman
Made her collegiate debut and scored her first collegiate goal against Seattle U (8/17/23)... saw her first career start for the Vandals against Nevada (8/31/23)... appeared in 14 games.
"Izzy is exactly what we look for in our outside backs. She is very athletic, great on the ball, and will get forward into the attack. We see Izzy making a huge impact on both sides of the ball. Izzy is a lockdown defender and fearless in 1v1 tackles. I love it when Izzy gets forward into the attack. She also has a lethal left foot and will put great services in for the forwards.” - Coach Clevenger
WHY IDAHO:
Isabelle chose Idaho because it immediately felt like home. She connected with the team and coaching staff on her first visit and was drawn to the close-knit culture of the Vandal family.
FUN FACT:
Isabelle could do a standing backflip when she was five years old!
BEFORE IDAHO:
Thoma competed for Crossfire Premier ECNL, helping the club reach the Elite Eight at the 2022 ECNL National Championships, the semifinals of the 2022 Surf College Cup, and the 2021 ECNL National Playoffs. She was a four-year starter at Glacier Peak High School, serving as team captain during her senior season while helping lead the Grizzlies to four consecutive conference championships and two postseason appearances. Individually, Thoma earned First Team 4A All-Wesco honors in 2021 and 2022, Second Team 4A All-Wesco recognition in 2020, and was named a 4A All-State Honorable Mention in 2022. In the classroom, she graduated as Glacier Peak High School's valedictorian, earned Honor Roll recognition all four years, was a member of the National Honor Society, and was recognized as a Snohomish Top Scholar in 2023.
