2008: Sandman started three games and appeared in four for Idaho as a junior. She finished the season with an 0-2-1 record, 16 saves, six goals allowed and a 1.70 goals-against average in 317 minutes in goal. She shut down a ranked Minnesota team in her first start of the season with 10 saves in 97 minutes in a 1-0 overtime loss.

She joined the women's basketball team at the end of the season and appeared in six games as a reserve player. She scored her first career point on a free throw in a 64-41 win over San Jose State on Feb. 15. She helped the Vandal women make one of the NCAA's best single-season turnarounds and finish with a third-place record of 10-6 in the WAC.

2007: Sandman took solid hold of the starting role and didn't disappoint, as she set new single-season school records at Idaho for shutouts (6) and saves (92) and helped lead a drastically improved Vandal defense. She played in and started 17 games, compiling a 5-11-1 record. She allowed 34 goals in 1466 minutes of play with a .730 save percentage. She helped get the Vandals going on the right foot, as she shut out three of the team's first four opponents to start the season.

2006: Sandman emerged as Idaho’s starting goalkeeper as she played in the final 10 games of the season and started the last nine. She grabbed 52 saves in 881 minutes, including stopping a penalty kick vs. Gonzaga. Her 44 saves during Western Athletic Conference play ranked second overall.

High School/Club: Sandman spent time as a member of the Washington State ODP team and helped the MV Marauders Club Team to a State Cup Championship in 2004.

Personal: She is the daughter of Jeff and Chris Sandman. She has one brother, Mike. She is majoring in Sports Science at Idaho.
