Biography
Oregon State: Hewitt was a part of the
Oregon State program for two years. She redshirted her freshman season at OSU
in 2009. She was injured and did not play the 2010 season at Oregon State.
High School: Hewitt was a four-sport
standout in high school. She was a first-team all-Inland Empire League pick in
basketball and track and field three times, and in volleyball twice. As a
junior, she won four Idaho 1A state track and field titles to single-handedly give
CFHS a fourth-place team finish at the state meet. Because CFHS didn’t offer
soccer, Hewitt competed for Sandpoint High School’s soccer team her junior and
senior seasons. She was a first-team all-IEL pick twice in 2007 and 2008, and
was the 2008 IEL Most Valuable Player as a senior. She scored 33 goals in two
seasons and helped lead SHS to two Idaho state tournaments.
Personal: She is the daughter
of Jeff and Pam Hewitt. She has two brothers, Clayton and Jesse. Her intended
major at Idaho is Sport Science.
