Biography
2007: Rustad was the team's assist leader for the season with four. She started all 18 games for the Vandals and took 15 shots with six on goal. Two of her assists led to game-winners, as she fed Anna Edmonds both times against Gonzaga and North Dakota State. She proved that she could get it done both on and off the field as she earned First Team COSIDA Academic All-District honors.
2006: Rustad saw action in all 19 games and started 11. She led the team in assists with two, assisting on both goals in a 7-2 loss at Cal State Northridge. She managed 12 shots. She also was honored as a COSIDA Academic All-District women’s soccer team selection.
2005: Rustad became a regular in the Idaho midfield, seeing action in 17 games and starting eight. She managed four shots on the season.
High School/Club: At Gulf Islands Secondary School, she was selected Most Valuable Player and team captain during her career. Rustad played as a member of the British Columbia Provincial Team and her club experience includes time as a member of the Nanaimo Premier Women’s soccer team.
Personal: She is the daughter of Robert Rustad and Nancy McDonald and has one sister, Clare (24), and one brother, Harley (22). Rustad is the third Canadian player to don an Idaho soccer jersey. She is majoring in International Studies, with a minor in French.
