HIGH SCHOOL: J’Bore (first name is pronounced juh-BORE-ay) twice earned first-team all-state honors as a dual-threat quarterback at Phillips High School in Chicago, which he helped lead to state titles in 2015 (Class 4A) and 2017 (Class 5A) ... during his senior season, he passed for more than 2,000 yards with 24 touchdowns, while adding 600-plus yards and seven touchdowns on the ground ... all-academic selection
