Biography

Career: Ends her career tied for second in game-winning goals (6), fourth in goals (20), fourth in points (52), eighth in shots (119) and ninth in assists (12).
 
2016: First Team All-Big Sky… appeared in 17 games, starting 11… finished tied for third on the squad with five goals… ended the year fourth on the team with four assists… scored the game’s lone goal in Idaho’s 1-0 win at Boise State late in non-conference play… scored Idaho’s only goal in the Vandals’ 1-1 draw with Weber State… also had goals in wins over Montana and North Dakota.

2015: Earned NSCAA Second Team Honors… earned All-Big Sky First Team honors… appeared in all 21 games, starting 18… Led the Vandals with 10 goals, the third most goals in a season in program history… also led the team with 25 points, also the third best mark in program history… recorded five assists, the 10th best total in program history… scored both goals in Idaho’s 2-1 win over Idaho State to jump start conference play… also scored twice at Memphis….led the Vandals with 59 shots, including 33 on target.

2014: Appeared in all 20 games, starting 11… tied for second on the team with three goals… finished third on the team with eight points…first goal of the season came against Northern Colorado in the Big Sky opener, providing the game-winner in the 78th minute… also scored the game-winning goal in Idaho’s shutout of North Dakota… had a team high 27 shots, including 14 on goal. 

2013: Appeared in all 20 games, starting 14… tied for third on the team with two goals…finished the season fourth on the team with five points….286 shot percentage (2-for-7) ranked second on the team…first career goal was the first goal of the 2013 season for Idaho, coming in the 33rd minutes against North Dakota State.

High School/Club: Four-year varsity player at Hockinson H.S. (Brush Prairie, Wash.)…registered 67 goals and 21 assists in her high school career…a four-time All-Greater St. Helens League honoree, with a Second Team selection in 2009 and First Team All-GSHL honors every year from 2010-12…was honored as the 2012 GSHL Co-Offensive MVP in 2012 after leading HHS to a 15-6-1 record and the second round of the Washington 2A State Tournament…earned Washington 2A All-State Second Team honors in 2012 as a senior…assisted the game-winning goal in Hockinson’s 2-1 comeback win – the first state tournament victory in school history – over Lindbergh High School in the first round of the state playoffs…helped lead the Hawks to four consecutive Washington 2A State Tournament bids…also earned a 2010 Second-Team All-State honor as a sophomore … was a 2012 team captain and a three-time team Offensive MVP…most recently competed for the VUSA Timbers club team, which she helped lead to a pair of Surf Cup semifinals and a 2012 Washington State Cup final…competed as a member of the Oregon Olympic Development Program.

Personal: Daughter of Kevan and Roni Battan…has one brother, Shamele, who played collegiate soccer as a goalkeeper at Seattle Pacific University…majoring in business.
