2006: Manning emerged as a leader for Idaho as she started all 19 games. Her play earned her honors as Most Valuable Player, and Defensive Player of the Year as voted by her teammates, and she also earned the Kathy Clark Scholar-Athlete Award. She managed two shots on the season.

High School/Club: At Snohomish High School, she was a first team all-WesCo 4A North selection and team captain during her career. She was also a team captain of her club team, the Northwest Nationals Volante, and participated in the Olympic Development Program in 2001.
Personal: She is the daughter of Greg and Kristin Manning and has three brothers, Avery (17), Dylan (15) and Sawyer (12). She is majoring in Physical Education.
Quoting Showler: "Kelsey is the rock of the team. She is very consistent and hardly ever puts a foot wrong. She is a great leader on and off the field and as captain a lot will come of her in terms of leadership. She is very solid, good in the air, strong on the ball, and uses great distribution in the backline."
