Biography
2009: Canite appeared in all 19 games in the midfield. She took 11 shots, three of which were on target.
2008: Canite saw limited action with an ankle injury, but still started seven games and played in 11 as a sophomore. She fired off 15 shots from the midfield, six of which were on goal.
2007: Canite had a dynamite freshman season for the Vandals, as she started all 18 games, scored one goal, dished one assist and finished second on the team with 25 shots from her midfield position. Her great play throughout the season led to her teammates voting her as the team's Most Valuable Player for the year. She scored her first career goal at Loyola Marymount.
High School: Canite helped Hanalani Schools win a Division II Hawaii state championship and league championship her senior season. She was a team captain her junior and senior years, during which she was a two-time all-league honoree. She was invited to participate in the Hawaii senior all-star game. Canite also competed for the Leahi 90 Premier club team for three years and helped that team win an Aloha International state championship in 2006.
Personal: She is the daughter of Michael and Charmaine Canite. She was born Sep. 7, 1989. She has one brother and one sister.She is majoring in Engineering at Idaho.
