I think you can put Payton in multiple attacking positions, and she will be a threat in our attack. One of my favorite things about Payton can be a very physical attacking player. She is not afraid to make contact when she has the ball.”

She chose Idaho after falling in love with the team, the campus, and the culture during her visit.

She is a first-generation Vandal!
BEFORE IDAHO:
She played club soccer for Idaho Rush Premier, earning selections to the Rush Select National Team from 2021–23 while helping her team capture a regional championship. At Mountain View High School, she was named Team MVP in 2023 and Attacking Player of the Year in 2022. She also earned First Team All-Conference honors in 2023, Second Team All-Conference recognition in 2022, and Academic All-Conference honors from 2021–23. In the classroom, she was a four-year National Honor Society member, received the Presidential Academic Award and the Vandal Excellence Scholarship, and has been named to the Dean's List every semester of college.
