Biography
JUNIOR (2024-2025): She competed in all six meets during her Junior season. She placed 3rd against College of Idaho on the 500 Y Free.
SOPHOMORE (2023-24): Appeared in nine meets in her second year at Idaho… Recorded two personal bests at the WAC Championships - 100-yard butterfly (1:03.86), and 400-yard IM (4:28.33)... Notched a personal best in the 1000-free (10:37.15) against Washington and a career-best in the 1650-free (18:20.52) at the Vandal Invite
FRESHMAN (2022-23): Competed in all eight regular season meets in her freshman season... swam in three events at the WAC Championships in Pharr, Texas... posted two career best times in the 500 free (5:02.21) and 200 breast (2:19.99) at WAC
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity participant at Cedarburg High School… four-time All-Conference member (2018-2021)... three-time All-State representative (2019-21)... helped lead Bulldogs to four conference championships (2018-21)... was an individual state qualifier in 2020 and 2021… finished eighth place in the 200 freestyle at D1 state championships (2021)... clocked in fifth fastest 200 freestyle time in school history (1:53)... swam for the Ozaukee Aquatics club team
PERSONAL: Daughter of Shelly and Douglas Gabel… has one brother, Trev… majoring in architecture… enjoys Cooking, hiking and film photography
