Honors: 2018 ITA Scholar-Athlete, 2018 First Team All-Big Sky, 2018 First Team All-Big Sky Doubles, Big Sky Player of the Week (Mar. 21, Mar. 28), 2017 Second Team All-Big Sky, 2017 Second Team All-Big Sky Doubles, 2x Academic All-Big Sky (2017, 18), 2016 Second Team All-Big Sky
2017-18: Played to an 18-7 overall record...went 14-5 in the spring...was the only player to go 11-0 in the Big Sky...filled in at No. 1 with a perfect 3-0 record...advanced to the semifinals of the Gonzaga Bulldog Invitational...played with Marianna Petrei at No. 1 doubles...the pair finished 9-4 on the season.
2016-17: Finished with 20-6 overall record…went 18-3 in the spring season…posted a 16-2 record at No. 4…won 17 straight leading up to the NCAA Tournament…went 2-0 in the Big Sky Tournament…played majority of doubles with Ana Batiri…the duo was 10-2 at the No. 2 position.
2015-16: Was 21-12 in her first year at Idaho…recorded a 16-7 record in the spring season…was 8-2 in conference singles…played majority of matches at No. 4 position…was 3-0 in the Big Sky Tournament, helping Idaho to the conference championship…NCAA Tournament match was left unfinished…was 15-8 in doubles during the spring.
Before Idaho: Tavares came to Idaho as the No. 1 ranked women’s senior player out of Portugal. She got as high as 692 in the International Tennis Federation (ITF) rankings. Tavares won the 2012 TE Parque Cup to go along with her seven regional championships.
