David Gannon

David Gannon is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Vandal volleyball team, joining the program in March 2019.

Gannon comes to Idaho after spending the past four seasons with Weber State University, where he served as an assistant coach with the Wildcats since March 2015.
 
Gannon is no stranger to the University of Idaho, where he spent the 2014 season with the Vandals as the Director of Volleyball Operations.
 
Prior to his stint with Idaho, which he helped lead to a 15-14 overall record and an 11-5 mark the Big Sky Conference’s North Division, Gannon was an assistant coach at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Ariz., for three seasons. He also coached juniors clubs in Arizona from 2010-13. During the summers of 2013 and 2014, Gannon worked with USA Volleyball High Performance in Colorado Springs, Colo., as an assistant coach during youth/select A2 Camp.
 
Gannon received his Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 2013. Gannon, and his wife, Lynnette, have two daughters, Gwen (5) and Mae (2).
