Meika Wagner enters her third season with the Vandals after joining the program in 2019.
Wagner’s career has taken her all across the globe. Originally from Riverside, California, Wagner attended USC where she was a three-time All-Pac 10 selection and twice earned All-America honors while earning her degree in political science. She also competed as a member of Team USA Volleyball from 1996-98. Wagner was named to the Riverside Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
Wagner then took her talents to Europe, where she played 19 seasons as a professional. She spent 15 total seasons in Italy, two in Germany and one each in Switzerland and Spain. As a coach, Wagner has spent the last decade-plus as a juniors coach and private instructor.
Off the court, Wagner has a passion for fashion. She attended the Instituto Carlo Secoli Fashion School in Italy from 2008-11, and has worked as a freelance fashion designer since.
Wagner has also spent time as a youth mentor and worked as a resident counselor in a group home for at risk foster children.
