Biography

2025: A rising senior, Fontes will return to lead the Vandals as an experienced outside hitter.

2024: Named to the Big Sky All-Academic Team
As a Junior in 2024, competed in 19 matches for Idaho, starting 15 at outside hitter… Recorded 122 kills and averaged 2.14 per set… Led the team with 21 aces on the year… Accumulated 92 digs and 17 blocks…

PRIOR TO IDAHO: Spent two seasons at Florida Southwestern State College under head coach Thais Baziquetto-Allen… Compiled 72 kills, 28 digs, 14 service aces, eight blocks and four assists over 21 matches played… Helped lead the Bucs to back-to-back JUCO National Championships and a combined 58-2 overall record... Attended Padre Machado School and Dom Bosco throughout prep career… Voted team captain for two seasons (2017-19)... Played for the Minas Tennis Club… Helped lead the team to a Taça Parana tournament championship in 2022.

PERSONAL: Daughter of Carlos Fontes and Eliane Archangelo… Enjoys dancing and listening to music in her free time.
