Nick Bowers

Nick Bowers joined the University of Idaho in June 2025 as the Senior Athletic Advisor for Student-Athlete Support Services. In this role he oversees academic support for Women’s Volleyball, Men’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field.

Prior to joining the University of Idaho, Nick was a First Year Student Navigator with the University of Olivet in Olivet, Michigan. In this role he aided first year students in making a successful transition to college, teaching three courses per semester, serving as a course advisor, and collaborating closely with the athletic department.

Nick earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History in 2020 as well as a Master of Arts in History (2022) and a Master of Public Administration (2024) from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. While pursuing his master’s he worked as a graduate assistant in student academic services that included work with the BGSU football team.

A native of Marysville, Ohio he was a member of the first graduating class of the Marysville Early College High School in 2018. As part of this program, he earned an associate degree from Columbus State Community College in the spring of 2018. His parents, younger brother and two dogs still reside in Marysville. In his off time, Nick plays and officiates ice hockey, and umpires high school and travel league baseball.
