Quinn Dilworth was hired as the Idaho Athletics' Director of Strength and Conditioning in October 2025, overseeing all of the department's Olympic sports and working primarily with men's basketball.
He comes to UI by way of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, developing strength and conditioning programs for men's basketball, volleyball, and assisting with football. Prior to UND, Dilworth had a stint at Dixie State, guiding student athletes through the program's transition from DII to DI and rebranding as Utah Tech, all while serving as the Associate Director of Strength and Conditioning, managing the department's undergraduate intern program and managing staffing and equipment.
Quinn earned his degree in Exercise Science from Southern Utah University while collaborating on undergraduate research that tested cognitive effects of acute exercise and test taking ability, as well as working alongside physical therapists on post-surgical patients. He would stay at SUU to earn his Master's Degree in Strength & Conditioning and Human Performance, coordinating these programs for the school's tennis teams and working as a private personal trainer.Â
He then went to Southern Utah University to pursue a degree in exercise science. While in college Quinn was part of undergraduate research testing cognitive effects of acute exercise and test taking ability. Quinn also worked in several rehab settings such as post-surgical working under physical therapist.
Quinn is originally from Ogden, Utah, where he played multiple sports such as football and lacrosse.
