MOSCOW, Idaho - University of Idaho volleyball coach Debbie Buchanan gave birth to Austin James Buchanan July 25 - but just barely. The new arrival was born at 11:59 p.m. at Gritman Medical Center.

Austin weighed in at eight pounds, three and one half ounces and measured 20 inches long. Both the mother and dark-haired baby boy are doing well. Austin is the first child for Debbie and her husband, Gayle "Buck" Buchanan.
