Gordon Webb, a senior from Malta, Mont. (Malta HS), took second place at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Primm, Nev., to earn Western Athletic Conference Golfer of the Week honors.

Webb finished one stroke back of the winner with a 14-under par 202 (65-67-70).  Webb's first round of 65 was the best of any WAC player this year.  He finished six strokes ahead of the third-place finisher, teammate Sean McMullen, helping the Vandals to second place in the 14-team field.
