Men’s hoops host Carroll College

MOSCOW, Idaho – The 2016-17 season is just around the corner and Idaho men's hoops is gearing up with the first of two exhibitions, hosting Carroll College at 7 p.m. on Tuesday night in Memorial Gym.

All home games this season will be streamed live for FREE via WatchBigSky and Eversport, or the link on the right.  Fans can watch live online or through the WatchBigSky app.  Live stats will also be available through the link on the right or the men's basketball schedule page.

The Vandals are looking to keep the good times rolling, after cracking the 20-win plateau for the first time since 1992-93 last season.  Idaho was tremendous in Big Sky play, going 12-6 despite a number of crucial injuries and taking third in the regular season standings.  The Vandals advanced to the Big Sky Semifinals in Reno before falling to Montana.  The season continued, with a bid to the College Basketball Invitational at Seattle U.

This year, expectations are high as Idaho was picked to finish second by the coaches and third by the media.  Junior guard Victor Sanders was also recognized by the league as a member of the Preseason All-Conference Team.  Idaho returns four of five starters from last year's squad as well as its top six scorers.
