Sarah Sharp earned her first All-Conference honor with the announcement of the Big Sky All-Conference teams on Wednesday. Sharp earned Second Team All-Big Sky as voted on by the conference coaches.
Sharp, a Filer, Idaho native, closed the regular season as Idaho's top point getter. She totaled 391.0 points for the Vandals in 28 matches. The outside hitter leads Idaho with a career-high 348 kills. She is 10th in the Big Sky, averaging 3.05 kills per set. Sharp is third on the team with 62Â blocks this season. She earned All-Tournament honors both at the New Mexico Invitational and the Idaho Volleyball Classic.
Sharp ended the regular season on a high note, netting a career-high 24 kills against Montana State. She has double figure kill matches this season, including three with 20 or more kills.Â
She has totaled 566 career kills in two seasons at Idaho. Sharp has played a total of 212 career sets, averaging 2.67 kills per set.Â
The Vandals are in preparations for the Big Sky Tournament. Idaho will take on tournament host North Dakota, Thursday at 5 p.m. PT.Â
