PHOENIX--The Idaho Vandals will look to bounce back from its first lost of the season at the Grand Canyon Thanksgiving Classic on Friday. The Vandals will open the tournament with Northern Iowa (1 p.m. PT), before taking on host Grand Canyon on Saturday at 2 p.m. PT.

About Idaho: Idaho is off to a 2-1 start to the 2016-17 season. Idaho has close wins over Seattle U and Cal State Fullerton. The Vandals suffered their loss at No. 15 Washington.  

About the Opponent: UNI sits at 2-2 on the season. The Panthers have wins over IUPUI and Wisconsin-Parkside. Madison Weekly leads UNI with 16.3 ppg.

The Match-Up: Friday marks the first meeting between the two schools.
