MOSCOW, Idaho--Idaho women's basketball will host the Lady Griz of Montana at 2 p.m. on Saturday. It is Scouts Day, all Boy and Girl Scouts will get free admission.
About Idaho: The Vandals are coming off a loss to Montana State on Thursday. Idaho turned the ball over 20 times in the loss. Geri McCorkell led Idaho with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
About the Opponent: Montana remains winless in the Big Sky this season. The Lady Griz have lost 10 in a row, the latest a 64-57 contest at EWU. Taylor Goligoski and Hailey Nicholson each had 13 points.
The Match-Up: Montana holds an overwhelming lead in the all-time series, 41-9. Idaho has gotten the best of the Lady Griz as of late, winning the last two meetings. The Vandals won big earlier this season in Missoula, 86-59.
Boarding: Idaho matched a season-high with 47 rebounds against Montana State. The Vandals also had 47 at home against Weber State.
Short End: Five of Idaho's losses this season have come down to the wire, the latest being a five-point loss to Montana State. Idaho has losses of two, three, four, five and seven points this season.
