PORTLAND, Ore.—The Idaho women's basketball team opens the second half of the Big Sky season on the road this week. The Vandals will take on Portland State (Thurs., 7 p.m. PT) and Sacramento State (Sat., 2:05 p.m. PT).

About Idaho: The Vandals split last week with the Montana schools, earning the season sweep of the Griz. The Vandals sit fifth in the Big Sky standings, heading down the final stretch of the conference season.
 
About the Opponent: Portland State returns all five starters from last season. The Vikings have doubled their Big Sky win total from a year ago. The have improved from 2-16 last season to their current 4-4 standing.
