FULL RESULTS
SEATTLE, Wash. – The Vandals posted a number of impressive marks on Sunday at the UW Open in Seattle, with several athletes moving up the Big Sky rankings.

Rechelle Meade won the high jump with a personal-best leap of 1.75 meters, tying her national record. The jump moves her into a tie for second in the Big Sky Conference.Â
Katelyn Peterson earned fourth in the event with a jump of 1.67 meters. Meade would go on to win in the long jump as well, posting a personal-best leap of 5.81 meters.Â

Adara Winder had a season-best performance in the shot put, tying the best throw in the Big Sky so far this season at 14.47 meters.

The Story sisters both finished in the top-10 in the mile, posting career-best performances.Â
Krista Story took fourth at 4:57.16, while
Kara Story finished ninth with a time of 4:58.98.

Karina Moreland placed sixth in the triple jump at 11.41 meters.Â
Kolcie Bates took sixth in the weight throw at 16.63 meters.Â
Andrea Condie earned ninth in the 30000-meters with a personal-best time of 9:50.70. The time moves Condie into fifth in the Big Sky, close behind
Kara Story who went 9:49.34 earlier this weekend.Â
Kaleala Bass finished 10
th in the 800-meters at 2:15.09, the fastest time by a Vandal this season.

The squad of Bass,
Marquita Palmer,
Meghan Palesch and
Wednesday Walton earned second in the 4x400-meters with a time of 3:59.28.

The men's side also saw a number of impressive performances. Zack Short posted a personal-best throw of 17.47 meters in the shot put, taking second overall. The throw would move Short into the top-five in the Big Sky. Matthew Pete Bauman also put in a personal-best performance, throwing 16.83 meters in the weight throw and earning fifth.

A pair of Vandals finished in the top-six in the 60-meter hurdles, led by
Zion Stuffle. Stuffle finished fifth with a time of 8.35 seconds, while freshman
Ben Doucette earned sixth just two one hundredths of a second behind at 8.37 seconds.

Dusan Jevtic and
Drew Thompson finished in the sixth and seventh, respectively, in the high jump. Jevtic cleared 1.95 meters on his third attempt, while Thompson cleared through 1.90 meters without failing.

Jonny Magee finished eighth in the triple jump with a leap of 13.98 meters. In the 3000-meters,
Grayson Ollar placed eighth with a time of 8:20.33, moving into the top-10 in the Big Sky this year.

In the 4x400-meters, the team of
Mack Baxter,
Ian Middleton,
Dean Ellenwood and
Blake Gerling finished second overall with a time of 3:20.01.
