MOSCOW, Idaho – The men return home for the final weekend this season, beginning with Idaho State (3-11, 5-21) on Thursday night at 7 p.m. in Memorial Gym. Idaho (13-12, 8-6 BSC) will also be holding its annual Spirit Game, with cash prizes to the most vocal student groups.

PREVIEW: The Vandals dropped their one game last weekend, at Eastern Washington, 67-77. EWU shot the lights out in the first half and closed the game well at the charity stripe to take over the third seed in the conference standings. Idaho State has been snake-bitten of late, dropping its last four games.
LAST MEETING: Idaho controlled the game at Idaho State earlier this season, winning 77-62.
Victor Sanders led the way with 22 points, while
Chad Sherwood had 13. The Vandals were tremendous at the free throw line, connecting on 24-of-28 attempts (85.7%) to earn the win.
STANDINGS HEATING UP: Idaho is still well in the mix for a first round bye at the Big Sky Championship in Reno in two weeks. The top five teams will receive a bye to the quarterfinals.
The Vandals sit in sixth at the moment, a half game behind Montana and Montana State for fourth. The Montana schools still have to play each other and make the always challenging trip to Weber State and Idaho State for the final weekend of the season.
Idaho's schedule, however, has seemingly lined up in the Vandals' favor. Aside from facing Weber State on senior day, the Vandals will close the season with three of their last four against the bottom three teams in the Big Sky standings. Idaho State, Northern Arizona and Southern Utah have combined to win 10 total Big Sky games this season, with a winning percentage of 23.8.
