Day 2 Results | Day 3 Live Stream

POCATELLO, Idaho – Day two of the 2017 Big Sky Indoor Track and Field Championships is wrapped up in Pocatello with a handful of Vandals scoring on the second day.
 
The men sit in eighth currently, with 17 points, while the women are in ninth with eight points.
 
Rechelle Meade took third in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 6.01 meters.  It is the first time that the freshman has broken six meters.  Arphaxad Carroll finished second overall in the long jump at 7.43 meters.
 
Dusan Jevtic earned a fifth place finish in the high jump with a leap of 1.99 meters.  Drew Thompson finished in seventh in the heptathlon with 4896 points.  His best finish on Friday came in the 60-meter hurdles, where he won the event at 8.36 seconds.
 
A pair of Vandals qualified for the finals in their respective events, to take place on Saturday.
 
Ben Doucette qualified first in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.04 seconds, tying his personal best and the fastest time in the Big Sky this season.  Carroll wasn't done, as he qualified for the final in the 60-meter dash, finishing with the third fastest time at 6.83 seconds, a personal best.
