BRYAN CLAY RESULTS | BEACH INVITATIONAL RESULTS
AZUSA, Calif. – Idaho track and field had another successful day on Friday, sending the squad to a pair of meets in California.
The first group of athletes closed out competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
Krista Story continues to climb the conference rankings in the 1500, running the ninth fastest time in program history and moving into the top-five in the Big Sky at 4:30.76.
Emily Wesseling ran a season-best as well at 4:38.38.
Marquita Palmer ran a season-best time of 2:13.81 in the 800-meters, while teammate
Kaleala Bass posted a personal-best at 2:14.40.
A trio of Vandals ran their fastest times of the season in the 800-meters on the men's side.
Blake Gerling ran a personal-best time of 1:51.99, moving into the top-five in the Big Sky.
Ian Middleton (1:52.10) and
Dean Ellenwood (1:52.77) also posted season-bests.
Competition also began at the Beach Invitational.
Valerie Mitchell won the 10k at 37:16.58, a top-10 time in the Big Sky this year.
Dwain Stucker also posted a top-10 time on the men's side, finishing second with a time of 31:36.64.
