MOSCOW, Idaho – The University of Idaho Track & Field program is excited to announce the signing of Hana Tyndall of Gleneagle High School and the Coquitlam Track Club out of British Columbia north of the border in Canada.
Tyndall is a sensational hurdler and has consistently been one of the better hurdlers in the British Columbia province. She has a personal best of 14.49 in the 100m hurdles. Tyndall has also run 26.07 in the 200m and 61.03 in the 400m.
She has consistently placed high at the British Columbia High School Championships and Provincial competitions. She was third at Provincials and fifth at the BC High School Championships in the 100m hurdles in 2016. During the 2015 season she was fourth in the 100m hurdles at Provincials. She was also part of a 4 x 400m relay team that placed third at the BC High School Championships in both 2015 and 2016.
Hana is an excellent student and at this time is leaning towards studying exercise science at the University of Idaho.
"Hana has a quiet confidence about her that shows in her athletics and academics. She is a very talented hurdler, who has a lot of room still to develop. We are thrilled to have her as part of the Vandal family." –
Tim Cawley, Director of Track & Field/Cross Country.
