MOSCOW, Idaho – After a year overseas former Vandal
Nahshon George is headed back to the Americas to compete in the Mexican CIBACOPA with the Tijuana Zonkeys.
George enjoyed an excellent first professional season, playing for Thai General Equipment in the Thailand Basketball League. There, George averaged the fifth most rebounds in the league at 14.2 per game and added 19.2 points, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals per contest on his way to being named Asia-Basket.com All-TBL Honorable Mention.
The Zonkeys won back-to-back championships in 2014-15 and feature a number of former college athletes from the States.
George played two seasons with the Vandals, from 2014-16. His best year came during his senior campaign, where he averaged 4.3 points and 4.1 boards per contest while helping Idaho to its best record in more than two decades.
