MOSCOW, Idaho- The Vandals are getting down to business. With the team's first scrimmage in the rear-view mirror, position battles have intensified as the depth chart starts to firm up.

Record-setting quarterback
Matt Linehan is entrenched as the starter. Linehan's top receiving targets and backfield mates continue to separate themselves, but the big guys who will protect the four-year signal caller continue to fight for every last opportunity. Assistant head coach
Kris Cinkovich noted the offensive line's competitiveness following Tuesday morning's practice.
"We had a good energy this morning," Cinkovich said following practice. "I liked our physicality and combativeness today. We are starting to get some clarity on who our five will be, but the young guys keep battling."
The physicality of the offensive line often comes in direct opposition of one of the Vandals' strengths this season: the defensive line. The front seven of the Idaho defense is expected to be leaned on heavily, but the linemen specifically appear ready to more than carry their weight. The daily battles in the trenches have provided some of the best one-on-one competitions in camp. The video below proves Tuesday was no different.
