SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The 2017 regular season is finally here, as Idaho soccer is set to take on UC Santa Barbara on Friday night at 7.

MATCHUP: Idaho is 1-6-1 all-time against UC Santa Barbara, with the last meeting coming during the 2011 season, a 1-1 draw.

#KIBBIEKICKOFF: The Vandals kick off the home schedule on Friday, August 25 at 6 p.m. with the #KibbieKickoff as in-state rival Boise State makes its way to the Kibbie Dome. Admission is free, with a Fan Zone tailgate taking place outside the Dome beginning at 3:30 p.m.
VANDALS PICKED 4th: Idaho was picked to finish fourth in the preseason coaches' poll, receiving one first place vote. The Vandals, the back-to-back Big Sky Regular Season Champions, are 16-1-3 in conference games over the last two seasons. Eastern Washington, the defending tournament champions, were picked first.
