The women play the first game of Friday's doubleheader

CHENEY, Wash.--Idaho travels to Eastern Washington on Friday for its lone game of the week. The Vandals and Eagles will play a doubleheader. The women will get things going at 5 p.m. PT. The men's game will follow. Both games will be televised on SWX.Ā 

TV: Ā Sam Adams (play-by-play for both games) will be joined by Michelle Clark (color) for the call.Ā Ā

The Game: The Vandals take to the court against a familiar foe on Friday. Idaho and Eastern Washington met four times last season, splitting the series 2-2. Ā 

About The Vandals: Idaho wrapped the non-conference season with a 4-7 record. The Vandals opened the season win a road-win at four-time Mountain West champion Colorado State. Idaho also has wins over CSUN, Cal State Fullerton, Eastern Oregon, North Dakota and Portland State. The trio of Mikayla Ferenz, Geri McCorkell and Taylor Pierce have led the team this season. The group has scored 74.1 percent of Idaho's points this season (796 combined). Ā 

About the Eagles: EWU is off to a 2-2 start to the Big Sky season. The Eagles split last week with a loss to Portland State before their 83-72 win over Sacramento State. Delaney Hodgins led the EaglesĀ in the win with 27 points and six assists.Ā 

Last Time Out: Mikayla Ferenz set a season-high with 39 points in Idaho's 101-90 win. The Vandals shot a season-high 59.0 percent (36-61) from the field and notched 15 3-pointers in the win.Ā

• Ranked 23rd in the NCAA with 176 steals this season
• Lead the Big Sky with 4.8 blocks per game (48th NCAA)
• Delaney Hodgins is fourth in the Big Sky (41st NCAA) with 19.8 ppg
• She is also 23rd in the NCAA with 119 FGM
• Averaging 70.5 ppg in Big Sky play (8th)
