Idaho looks for the season-sweep of North Dakota

Grand Forks, N.D.--The Vandals head for the plains of North Dakota for a rematch with the UND Fighting Hawks. Idaho picked up the first win of the series back in December. Game two between the schools is set for 12 p.m. PT.

The Game: The Vandals will look for the series sweep on Saturday at North Dakota. Idaho picked up the W in the first meeting to open the Big Sky season back on Dec. 28. 

About The Vandals: Idaho is in the midst of a tight race in the Big Sky with a 5-3 start. The Vandals are on a season-long three-game winning streak, pulling within a game of .500 on the season. Idaho has a trio of 1,000-point scorers in Mikayla Ferenz, Geraldine McCorkell and Taylor Pierce. The group has led the team this season in scoring, totaling 73.6 percent of Idaho's points this season (1,011 combined).  

About UND: The Fighting Hawks have a 3-5 record in Big Sky play, but have won each of their last two contests. UND started conference play with a three-game skid but has since won three of its last five. 

Last Time Out: Mikayla Ferenz totaled 33 points and Geri McCorkell picked up her third straight double-double in Idaho's 79-71 win at Northern Colorado. The win was Idaho's first in three tries at UNC. 

Scouting the Fighting Hawks
• Picked second in both the preseason conference polls
• Outrebounding opponents by 7.3 per game (38th NCAA)
• UND leads the Big Sky in total FTA (450) and FTM (318, ranking 11th and 10th in the NCAA, respectively
• Lexi Klabo is 22nd in the NCAA with 48 blocks and 23rd with 2.53 BPG
• Klabo is also 8th in the country with 118 FTM and leads the conference with 9.2 rebound s per game
