IDAHO NOTES | PLUTO TV | LIVE STATS

CEDAR CITY, Utah
– It's the final regular season road trip of the year for Idaho soccer (8-6-2, 5-1-1), starting at Southern Utah (2-13-1, 1-5-1) at 3 p.m. (Pacific) on Friday.

SEEDING ON THE LINE: Idaho has already clinched a postseason berth, and currently sits in third in the Big Sky standings.  The Vandals are in control of their own destiny, and would take the regular season championship with a pair of wins this weekend.

LAST TIME OUT: The Vandals took down top-ranked Weber State, 2-0, on Senior Day.  Kayla Watanabe got the scoring started early, after a great through ball from Bridget Daley.  Taylor Brust doubled the advantage in the 60th minute with a rocket of a free kick.

Makayla Presgrave picked up her seventh shutout of the season, the second most in a single season in team history.  Amanda Poertner recorded nine during Idaho's championship season in 2015.

MATCHUP: Idaho is 3-1-1 all-time against Southern Utah.  All three wins came in the Gem State, with two in Moscow and one in Pocatello at the Governor's Cup in 2007.  The Vandals are 0-1-1 at Southern Utah, including a 3-1 loss last season.

BEST IN THE NATION: Idaho finished its home schedule at 6-0-1, marking the third time in program history that the Vandals did not suffer a loss at home.  Idaho won the Big Sky regular season championship in each previous occurrence, in 2015 and 2016.

In fact, Idaho only conceded on goal at home this season, on a penalty kick against Grambling State.  The Vandals are the only team in the nation to not concede a goal from the run of play at home this year.

RECORD BOOKS: Idaho's six home wins are the fifth most in a single season in team history.  The Vandal's home winning percentage of 0.929 is the best ever at Idaho.

ALL THEY DO IS WIN: Idaho's current class of seniors has won 40 games over the past four seasons, the most ever over a four-year stretch at Idaho.  The senior class of 2012 won 37 games, and featured Idaho soccer's lone Vandal Athletics Hall of Famer in Chelsea Small.  Last year's class of one, Baggerly, won 36 games over four years.
