MOSCOW, Idaho – Idaho men's basketball rallied late, but came up short in an exhibition game Friday, against Lewis-Clark State. The Vandals cut the deficit to two with less than a minute to play, but the Warriors came away with a 65-59 victory at Memorial Gym.

"Give LC all the credit," said Idaho head coach
Don Verlin. "They came in here and played harder than we did. They rebounded better than we did. Defended better than we did, shot it better than we did."

Trevon Allen led Idaho with 16 points and four assists, while also grabbing five rebounds.

Idaho gets the 2018-19 regular season underway Tuesday (Nov. 6), at UC Irvine. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. PT, and can be heard on the Vandal Radio Network. The home opener is Nov. 13, against Nicholls State.
