Alycia Wodke was voted Big Sky's Co-Libero of the Year. Seniors
Sarah Sharp,
DeVonne Ryter and
Kaela Straw, were recognized as First Team All-Conference selection. Seniors
Reece Carman and Wodke were both selected as Second Team All-Conference.
Wodke, recognized as Co-Libero of the Year and All-Big Sky Second Team selection, averaged 5.33 digs per set in conference play, most on the team and fourth-most in the league.
In Big Sky play, Sharp contributed 4.02 kills per set to lead the team (fourth-best in the league). She also hit at a .276 hitting percentage. Sharp ranks among the best in Idaho volleyball history as she sits in ninth for career kills (1306) and tied for seventh in double-figure kill matches (68).
Ryter averaged 1.10 blocks per set during Big Sky competition (five-best in the league) along with 2.31 kills per set. She also led the team with 20 service aces (top 10 in the conference). Ryter ranks 16th in the nation in overall hitting percentage (.396) and second in the league with a .414 clip.
Straw averaged 3.02 kills per set on a .227 clip. She also collected 48 digs and 31 blocks during conference play.
In Big Sky action, Carman checks in the conference leaderboards with an average of 3.10 kills per set – good for ninth-best in the Big Sky. She hit the ball at a .318 clip which was eighth-best in the league.
Sharp the lone Vandal to grabbed All-Big Sky First Team twice in her career. Alycia collected her second individual award in her career. Last season she was voted Newcomer of the Year. Straw, Ryter and Carman are all first-time recipients.
Idaho, the No. 2 seed in this week's Big Sky Tournament, will take on No. 7 Montana Thursday, Nov. 22nd in Greeley, Colo. The first round match is set for a 3:30 p.m. PT start.
